Pilot & Odyssey Performance, LLC was created for likeminded individuals that share a passion for these unique machines.
So why did we start this company with such a small market to target (especially with all the start up costs, distributor rights, low volumes, supplier restrictions and overhead)???? Well I have asked myself the same question several times after a couple of months into its birth. Basically, we started this company to search out and develop parts for the Honda Pilot FL400, Honda Odyssey FL350, and the Odyssey FL250. I hated to see these machines die so I decided to do something about it.
Why are the parts so hard to find???? Easy, because the ATV/motorcycle world seemed to forget about us!!!! Small markets mean small margins to the big time aftermarket companies........Big companies make big bucks chasing the UTV, Sport, and Utility markets.
How did I get started with Pilots and Odysseys? Well it was an accident(no pun intended) I was an accident prone kid and by the time I was 10 years old I had broken both my arms twice, had stitches 3 times and the receptionist at the local ER room knew my mother and I on a first name basis......not a good sign. So, with that being said and having a smart father, my first ATV was the 1984 FL250. It wasn't long after that we bought the 1985 Odyssey FL350. I have taken good care of these machines and have had them since I was 11 years old. The old Hondas have been in my blood ever since and it all began with the FL250.
Our company mission statement is that we believe that with persistence, increasing demand, and diligently working with manufactures/suppliers we can keep these machines alive for many years to come.
